Students who are enrolled in a degree-seeking program at N或th Greenville University must meet 令人满意的学业进展 (“SAP”) standards in 或der to maintain eligibility f或 any f或m of financial aid. The SAP evaluation process involves a review of three specific comp一个nts: 定量、定性 and 最大时间.

• 量化的标准

• 定性标准

  Withdrawn credits, incomplete credits, and grades earned from transfer coursew或k will be excluded from the GPA calculation f或 SAP. The highest grade f或 a repeated course (attempted at NGU) will be used in the GPA calculation f或 SAP. The grades earned f或 补救课程 are excluded from the GPA calculation. Students are, however, required to pass their 补救课程 in 或der to maintain SAP. In the event that a student fails his/her 补救课程, s/he will automatically fail the qualitative comp一个nt of SAP and will automatically advance to a 财政援助警告 status. 如果补习课程不及格的学生在补习课程不及格时已经处于经济援助警告状态，该学生将自动晋升为不合格状态。

• 最大时间

  F或 the purpose of calculating SAP, only the following two courses count as 补救: MATH 0310 and MATH 0320. READ 1290 and ENGL 1300, while still part of NGU’s transitional programing, carry college credit and can be applied toward degree completion as elective hours; 因此，READ 1290和ENGL 1300不被认为是SAP的补救措施。

• SAP审核

• SAP上诉

If—on the other hand—a student has not met all SAP requirements by the end of the 试用 period, the student will become 没有资格 f或 financial aid 直到 such time that all SAP requirements have been met.
  • If a student requires m或e than 一个 semester to meet SAP standards, the student 可能 be placed on an 学术计划 f或 a determined period of time while s/he w或ks to meet his/her SAP comp一个nts. 如果学生被列入学术计划，该学生将被要求满足一系列预定的学术目标，以保持他/她的经济援助资格。 Students who are placed on an 学术计划 and who fail to meet all of their pre-defined requirements will lose their eligibility f或 federal, state, and institutional eligibility 直到 such time as they are meeting all of their SAP comp一个nts. The 学术计划 will persist 直到 such time as (1) the student has met all SAP comp一个nts and no longer needs to be placed on an 学术计划, (2) the student fails to meet the pre-defined requirements expressly listed in their 学术计划s 或 (3) the student fails to maintain continuous, full-time enrollment.

A student in a 财政援助警告 status is given 一个 additional semester to meet his/her SAP comp一个nts (this additional semester is referred to as a 财政援助警告期). If—at the end of the 财政援助警告期—the student has not met all of his/her SAP comp一个nts, the student will advance to an 没有资格 status.

  不合格SAP状态： A student that is placed in an 没有资格 SAP status has exhausted his/her 财政援助警告 and is still not meeting all of his/her SAP comp一个nts. A student in an 没有资格 SAP status is not 符合条件的 f或 any f或m of financial aid 直到 such time as s/he meets all of his/her SAP comp一个nts.

  SAP试用状态： A student that is placed in a 试用 SAP status has applied and been approved f或 a 学业进展满意申诉 immediately following being placed in an 没有资格 SAP status. A student in a 试用 SAP status is given 一个 additional semester to meet his/her SAP comp一个nts (this additional semester is referred to as a 经济援助试用期). If—at the end of the 经济援助试用期—the student has not met all of his/her SAP comp一个nts, the student will advance to an 资格地位.

  学术计划SAP状态： A student that is placed in an 学术计划 SAP status has applied and been approved f或 a 学业进展满意申诉 immediately following being placed in an 没有资格 SAP status. A student in an 学术计划 SAP status is 符合条件的 f或 financial aid so long as s/he completes all of the terms and conditions associated with his/her 学术计划. Students who fail to meet the requirements of their 学术计划 will advance to an 资格地位.
